The season will include the 13th edition of the Sikka Art and Design Festival and the 18th edition of Art Dubai.
Dubai Design Week 2024 offers a rich programme of over 10 exhibitions, 60 workshops, and 40 installations, running through 10 November.
It features works by renowned Emirati artists such as Dr. Najat Makki, Nujoom Al Ghanem, Mohammed Al Mansoori, and the late Hassan Sharif.
The festival will bring together over 500 designers and brands from more than 40 countries to showcase new design ideas through installations, exhibitions, and experiential displays.
Dubai Culture invites all Emirati and UAE & GCC-based artists, creatives and designers to participate in the festival with their diverse works in visual arts, painting, sculpture, photography, design, murals, multimedia, culinary art and more.
Sheikha Latifa said: “Dubai, through the Expo 2020 Dubai Museum, continues its pivotal role in activating a sustainable intellectual and cultural movement, by documenting the essence of our historic world exhibition and preserving those memories for future generations.”
Dubai is hosting the 17th Art Dubai and the 12th Sikka Art and Design Festival.
During her visit to Dhai Dubai, Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed engaged with Emirati artists and designers, praising their creative prowess and global impact across artistic disciplines, besides their achievements in nurturing creativity and innovation.
The 12th edition of Sikka Art and Design Festival will be held from 23 February to 3 March 2024 at Al Shindagha Historic Neighbourhood.
