Art Dubai to celebrate 20 years with landmark 2026 edition
This milestone edition marks two decades of celebrating artistic voices from the Middle East, North Africa, South Asia, and beyond.
ArtDayME: Art Dubai has announced that its 19th edition will take place at Madinat Jumeirah from April 17 to 19, 2026, with preview days scheduled for April 15 and 16.
This milestone edition marks two decades of celebrating artistic voices from the Middle East, North Africa, South Asia, and beyond.
The 2025 fair welcomed over 35,000 visitors and featured 120 presentations from more than 35 countries, reaffirming Art Dubai’s role as a leading international platform for diverse and emerging perspectives.
Looking ahead, the 2026 edition will honour the fair’s rich legacy while spotlighting bold and forward-thinking ideas across its four core sections: Contemporary, Modern, Bawwaba, and Digital.
Founded in 2007, Art Dubai is the most significant global art gathering in the Middle East. As a catalyst for the rapid development of the region’s art scene and creative economy, the fair serves as a vital gateway for discovery, education, and exchange—championing galleries and artists from underrepresented geographies.
Each year, Art Dubai showcases around 120 contemporary, modern, and digital galleries from over 40 countries. The gallery presentations are complemented by site-specific artist commissions, an expansive education programme, and the most comprehensive talks and conference offering of any international art fair—including the renowned Global Art Forum and the annual Digital Summit.
Art Dubai also works closely with government and private sector partners to launch and sustain long-term initiatives aimed at supporting the growth of the UAE’s cultural infrastructure. These include Dubai Collection, the city’s first institutional art collection; Dubai Public Art, a multi-year public art commissioning programme; the most extensive cultural education initiatives in UAE schools, developed in partnership with A.R.M. Holding; and Campus Art Dubai, which fosters the next generation of cultural leaders through training, mentorship, and professional development.
