ArtDayME: Galleria Franco Noero, Turin hosts Hassan Sharif's solo exhibition.

The exhibition pays homage to Sharif’s enduring legacy and profound contributions to the art world, presenting a curated selection of his most outstanding works and offering a significant glimpse into the artist’s transformative journey.

From his iconic Objects series, to the mesmerizing complexity of his Semi-Systems, Sharif’s oeuvre reflects a profound engagement with form, time and social action. Embracing the beauty of imperfection, the artist’s work transcends traditional boundaries, inviting viewers to reconsider their perceptions of art and its role in society.

The exhibition continues until until June 15, 2024.

Hassan Sharif (1 January 1951 – 18 September 2016) was an Emirati artist and prolific writer. He lived and worked in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He is widely regarded as a central figure in contemporary and conceptual art in the region. Hassan Sharif was a founding member of the Emirates Fine Arts Society and of the Art Atelier in the Youth Theatre and Arts, Dubai. In addition to his own markedly experimental practice, he was also a mentor to many artists in the UAE and the region.
