ArtDayME: The Design Doha Biennale 2026, Qatar’s leading contemporary design platform, will return to Doha this November, bringing together more than 300 designers, 500 works, 15 design institutions and participants from over 50 countries across the MENASA region and beyond.

Organised under the leadership of Qatar Museums Chairperson Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, the biennial’s Opening Days will take place from 5 to 7 November 2026, while its exhibitions will remain on view through 31 January 2027. The 2026 edition will transform Fereej Al Asmakh, one of Doha’s significant historic neighbourhoods, into a major hub for design, alongside exhibitions and programmes across the city.

The expanded edition will feature a broad programme of exhibitions, public projects and events, connecting designers with institutions, buyers, cultural leaders and creative voices from across the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia.

At the centre of the programme is Arab Design Now 2026, curated by Noura Al Sayeh, which will bring together 81 designers, 78 new commissions and 15 films, representing 27 countries and more than 15 design disciplines.

The biennial will also include Public Design Commissions, bringing design into Qatar’s public spaces, as well as the Design Doha Prize, which recognises talent across Craft, Product Design, Furniture Design and Emerging Talent. The four winners will share QAR 800,000 in funding, alongside mentorship and professional development opportunities.

Design Doha 2026 is led by Director Fahad Al Obaidly, with Glenn Adamson serving as Artistic Director. The programme will also include talks, workshops, networking opportunities and international collaborations, further positioning Doha as a major meeting point for contemporary design.
