Artists from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Oman, Iraq and Palestine Shine in Paris / The “Nûn” Calligraphy Competition and the Contestants from 32 Countries

The first international Arabic calligraphy competition of the Grande Mosquée de Paris, held as part of the centenary celebrations of this historic landmark, concluded with 30 laureates selected from participants from 32 countries. With a total prize fund of €57,000, the competition placed six major Arabic and Islamic calligraphic traditions at the center of an international cultural event in Paris
