Dubai Design Week returns this November for Its 11th edition

Dubai Design Week brings together designers and creative practitioners to exchange ideas, collaborate and explore the evolving role of design in shaping a better collective future.

ArtDayME: Dubai Design Week 2025 will be held from 4–9 November under the patronage of Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, in partnership with Dubai Design District (d3) and supported by Dubai Culture. Aligned with the UAE’s ‘Year of Community’, this edition focuses on social cohesion, participation, and shared experiences, exploring design as a connector and civic tool.

Since its launch in 2015, the festival has evolved into a global platform emphasizing cross-cultural exchange, with a focus on West and South Asia and the wider Global South. Its diverse programme of exhibitions, installations, workshops, and talks is hosted across d3.

Programme Highlights:

Urban Commissions: Annual competition inviting global designers to submit community-driven public space concepts, themed ‘Courtyard’.

Abwab 2025: Now open to applicants from West, South, and East Asia and Africa, this year’s theme ‘In the Details’ invites immersive spatial experiences rooted in ornamental and cultural design.

Exhibitions & Installations: Showcase of cultural, social, and environmental perspectives through sustainable, inclusive design.

Workshops & Activations: Maker Space hosts hands-on sessions for all ages; activations include immersive projects, collaborations, and pop-ups.
