Bahman Nikoo: Vesta Color is the dependable paint brand for artists
Bahman Nikoo, the renowned Iranian painter, described Vesta Color as a reliable substitute for foreign brands after visiting its factory and recommended it to his students.
ArtDayMe: Master Bahman Nikoo, a distinguished Iranian watercolor and acrylic painter, after visiting the Vesta Color factory, said: “The production process was very fascinating for me, and I even recorded parts of it on video. I truly enjoyed watching how the colors are made; the production line was of a very high standard, highly professional, precise, and very educational. I would love to show these videos to my students who easily go to a shop and buy paints, so that they can see the effort behind making these colors and appreciate it.”
He explained: “I recognized the Vesta Color brand from the very beginning of its presence in the market and gradually saw how it expanded and produced a variety of paints and materials. Over the past four or five years, I have gained a complete familiarity with this company.
I remember having the feeling that Vesta Color could replace foreign brands. Whenever I needed a certain color, I preferred to buy Vesta because I knew Iranians were producing it, and gradually I realized it became a substitute for other products.
Now, both in terms of quality and quantity, Vesta Color meets my needs, and I have set aside the other brands I used to consume.”
The veteran painter added: “For about four or five years now, my relationship with Vesta Color has deepened. The company is currently testing watercolor production, and I am one of the artists involved in quality assessment and material correction. I can see that the product works very well.”
Master Bahman Nikoo emphasized: “Now I strongly recommend to all my students to use the Vesta brand. I even tell them not to go for other brands, not even other Iranian ones. The reliable brand is Vesta Color.”
He also noted: “This was the very first time I had visited a paint factory. The production process was extremely interesting to me; from the moment pigments are ground and turned into paint to the stage they are filled into tubes. I really enjoyed the process—it was professional, precise, and of a very high standard.”
He continued: “I would love my students, who usually just buy paint from stores without thinking, to watch these videos and see the hard work behind producing these colors so they can truly value them.”
At the end of his remarks, Master Bahman Nikoo said: “I am confident that Vesta Color will replace foreign brands in the near future—it already has in many ways. My main techniques rely on water-based paints such as acrylic and watercolor. I personally use Vesta Color and constantly recommend it to others as well.”
