ArtDayMe: Coinciding with the 25th anniversary of the establishment of Eghtesad Novin Bank, Iran’s first private bank, a selection of artworks from the bank’s gallery collection was put on public display at the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art.

The museum’s entrance gallery hosted the exhibition, titled “Novin Collection,” from Wednesday, August 19, 2026 (28 Mordad 1405), through Friday, August 28, 2026 (6 Shahrivar 1405).

The event featured 25 works from the collection of Novin Gallery in physical form, while the entire collection was also presented through photographic and video documentation.

The second edition of the book on the Novin Gallery Collection of Eghtesad Novin Bank was also published on the occasion and made available to artists.

Novin Gallery of Eghtesad Novin Bank was established in 2006 (1385) and, through the collection of a valuable body of Iranian visual art, has built a distinctive and remarkable collection. Today, the collection comprises more than 100 artworks, with its scope and richness continuing to grow through an ongoing acquisition program each year.

The collection includes outstanding works by more than 70 prominent Iranian artists, including Seyed Mohammad Ehsaei, Aydin Aghdashloo, Parviz Kalantari, Sadegh Tabrizi, Farideh Lashai, Mohammad Ali Taraghijah, Mahmoud Javadipour, Ahmad Esfandiari, Jalal Shabahanghi, Mohammad Ebrahim Jafari, Nasser Taghvai, Kaveh Golestan, Mehdi Sahabi, Hannibal Alkhas, Farah Ossouli, Gizela Varga Sinayi, Bahram Dabiri, Nosratollah Moslemian, Yaghoub Emamipour, Ali Nasir, Shahriar Ahmadi, and many other influential figures in contemporary Iranian art.

The citywide display of the Novin Collection of Eghtesad Novin Bank across the capital to mark the bank’s 25th anniversary was another notable initiative accompanying the event.
