ArtDayME: Organised by Aisha Alabbar Gallery in collaboration with Sotheby’s Dubai, the exhibition Whispers of the Past marks a significant partnership between a local contemporary art gallery and an international platform.

The show features works by Dr. Najat Makki, Khalid Al Banna, Sara Al Haddad, Sara Aref Ahli, and Samar Hejazi.

This multigenerational group of artists presents paintings, sculptures, textiles, and glassworks that engage with themes of memory, identity, and the ways in which personal and collective histories are expressed through different materials and forms.

Whispers of the Past is part of Sotheby’s Gallery Collective, a two-year initiative launched in 2024 in partnership with galleries across the UAE.

The exhibition runs from 11 September to 14 November 2025 at Sotheby’s Dubai, DIFC Gate Village, Building 3, Level B2.
