Sheikha Latifa inaugurates Dubai Design Week 2025 - in pictures
ArtDayME: Dubai Design Week 2025 was officially inaugurated on November 5 by Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority. Held in collaboration with Dubai Design District (d3) and supported by Dubai Culture, the event brings together over 1,000 designers and architects from 50 countries.
Sheikha Latifa highlighted the festival’s role in developing Dubai’s creative ecosystem, saying that Dubai Design Week has become an inspiring platform for new ideas and innovation. She added that design is not only about aesthetics but also about solving challenges and connecting people.
This year’s multidisciplinary programme spans architecture, interior design, and product design, featuring large-scale installations, workshops, and masterclasses. The event also includes a marketplace with over 90 artisans and entrepreneurs, showcasing homeware, fashion, jewellery, and sustainable products.
Dubai Design Week 2025 runs until November 9.
