Alia Al Farsi and 4 artists to represent Oman at Venice Biennale Arte

Alia Al Farsi, artist and founder of Alia Gallery was announced as the curator for Oman's Pavilion at Arte Biennale 2024.

ArtDayME: Oman participates for the second time in 60th International Exhibition-La Biennale di Venezia "The Foreigners Everywhere".

Meanwhile, Alia Al Farsi, artist and founder of Alia Gallery was announced as the curator for Oman's Pavilion at Arte Biennale 2024.

Joining her on this journey are four talented artits: Dr. Ali Al Jabri, Essa Al Mufarji, Sarah Al Olaqi, and Adham Al Farsi.

Titled "Malath-Haven," the exhibition draws inspiration from Oman's core, symbolizing a sanctuary for sailors, merchants, and immigrants throughout history. Similar to Oman's historical role in providing refuge to travellers from distant lands, "Malath" encourages visitors to embark on a sensory and artistic voyage.

In line with the Biennale Arte 2024 theme for the year, "Foreigners everywhere," the artists, hailing from various backgrounds, join forces to capture the essence of Oman's multicultural legacy.
