Moosa Al Halyan: When Horses Fall from the Sky – A Surreal Vision of Fragility

In a haunting scene where celestial fate collides with earthly fragility, Emirati artist Moosa Al Halyan’s Horse Painting (1996) captures more than the collapse of two horses—it embodies tradition, identity, and endurance in a world marked by inevitable change.

ABOUT US

The new Middle East is created via art The classical, modern, and contemporary arts of the Middle East are all represented in ArtDayMe, an art medium about the area. Despite being the cradle of human civilization and having a rich history of ancient arts, the Middle East's art was lost to history by the middle of the 19th century. The world's interest in modern art from the Middle East, however, was refocused around the year 2000. By the spring of 2023, at the same time that ArtDayMe was launched, the region's contemporary art has also achieved significant mobility and even managed to keep up with developments on a global scale. New chapters will be added to the history of art, and this time at least one of them will be written in the Middle East
