ArtDayMe: Hafez Gallery presents Golden Palms, a solo exhibition by Syrian painter Houssam Ballan.

In this series, Ballan turns the palm tree’s living geometry into a poetic space where memory and architecture intertwine.

Emerging from years of accumulated visual memory, palm gardens, landscapes, and fleeting architectural scenes, his new body of work explores how memory, light, and displacement shape identity and perception.

Drawing on the palm garden long observed from his studio, and from years of layered memory, Golden Palms reflects on how landscapes, architecture, and fleeting scenes quietly take root within Houssam Ballan. The palm’s geometry becomes a vessel where memory and light converge, reshaped by time and feeling into an evolving identity.

The exhibition is on view until December 13, 2025.
