A look at Oman's pavilion at the 60th Venice Biennale

ArtDayME: The Oman Pavilion was unveiled at the 60th Venice Biennale.

Alia Al Farsi, artist and founder of Alia Gallery is present as an artist and curator in this event and four talented artists: Dr. Ali Al Jabri, Essa Al Mufarji, Sarah Al Olaqi, and Adham Al Farsi have joined him on this journey.

Titled "Malath-Haven," the exhibition draws inspiration from Oman's core, symbolizing a sanctuary for sailors, merchants, and immigrants throughout history. Similar to Oman's historical role in providing refuge to travellers from distant lands, "Malath" encourages visitors to embark on a sensory and artistic voyage.

In line with the Biennale Arte 2024 theme for the year, "Foreigners everywhere," the artists, hailing from various backgrounds, join forces to capture the essence of Oman's multicultural legacy.
