ArtDayME: Following its highly successful presentation at the Sharjah Biennial, Sarah Abu Abdallah’s “You Ask, We Answer” opened on September 17 at ATHR Gallery Jeddah.

Spanning a sweeping 50 meters, the work unfolds like a fragmented yet fluid map of thoughts and emotions, inviting viewers into a labyrinthine journey through the artist’s mind. Collage, stickers, and moving images layer playfulness over profound existential questions, capturing the tension between order and chaos - echoing the unpredictable rhythms of life in a hyperconnected world.

Exploring the social and cultural conditions of contemporary Saudi Arabia through installations, images, paintings, video, and poetry, Sarah Abu Abdallah here presents a remarkable immersive painting animated with projection - a luminous meditation on fate, longing and the contradictions of existence.

The exhibition is on view at ATHR Gallery Jeddah, Space 1, until November 2, 2025.
