ArtDayME: ATHR Gallery has announced that the exhibition ‘Behind the Frame’ has been extended until December 15.

For the first time, ATHR’s six art handlers step into the spotlight, curating an exhibition shaped by their personal connections to the works they’ve carried, installed, and safeguarded across years of exhibitions.

Spanning drawing, collage, photography, video, sculpture, and installation, the show brings together works by Sara Abdu, Dana Awartani, Asma Bahmim, Rami Farook, Sultan Bin Fahad, Moath Alofi, Reem Alnasser, Ayman Yossri Daydban, Haji Noor Deen, and Mohammad AlFaraj.

This unprecedented exhibition offers a rare glimpse into the perspectives of the gallery’s essential workers — the unseen backbone of every show, because without them exhibitions don’t open and art doesn’t move.
