Hunna Art showcases works by Alymamah Rashed, Joud Fahmy, and Zayn Qahtani at Abu Dhabi Art 2025
The Hunna Art booth serves as a site of resonance where human and more-than-human worlds continuously mirror and transform one another.
ArtDayME: Kuwait’s Hunna Art, which champions female artists, is presenting works by three women from the Arabian Peninsula — Alymamah Rashed (Kuwait), Joud Fahmy (Saudi Arabia), and Zayn Qahtani (Bahrain) — at Abu Dhabi Art 2025.
Their practices converge around materiality, ecology, and embodied storytelling, offering intimate reflections on how bodies and landscapes intertwine. Rooted in the Gulf’s environments and mythologies, each artist engages distinct materials — from painting and sculpture to bio-based media — to explore the resonances between self, land, and culture. Together, their practices form a multi-vocal narrative attentive to ecology, identity, and cultural reinvention.

The 17th edition of Abu Dhabi Art continues until 23 November 2025.
