See: Mojdeh Gallery Unveils the Sadegh Tabrizi Book at the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art
ArtDayMe — The unveiling ceremony of the book A Review of the Life and Works of Sadegh Tabrizi, hosted by Mojdeh Gallery, was held on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art.
This comprehensive and valuable bilingual (Persian–English) publication, spanning 450 pages, explores the life and artistic vision of Master Sadegh Tabrizi. The book includes more than 300 paintings, 15 scholarly essays, and special sections such as an index of works presented at auctions, among other features. It has been published through the efforts of Mojdeh Gallery, in collaboration with the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art and the family of the late Sadegh Tabrizi.
This volume marks the sixth research publication released by Mojdeh Gallery over the past decade, dedicated to the leading figures and elites of Iranian art.
The book launch ceremony, which saw a strong حضور of prominent art masters and art enthusiasts, featured speeches by Mojdeh Tabatabaei, Director of Mojdeh Gallery; one of the daughters of the late Sadegh Tabrizi; Dr. Ilmira Dadvar; Kianoush Motaghadi; Dr. Marzieh Atahari Nik-Azm; and Master Einoddin Sadeghzadeh.
During the event, the documentary film “Now, the Ancient” (Aknun Kohan), directed by Mehdi Reza Khani, was screened.
Additionally, in Gallery No. 6 of the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art, a selection of works by the late Sadegh Tabrizi from the museum’s permanent collection was presented.
The closing segment of this distinguished ceremony was an informal artistic gathering of attendees at the museum café.
