Dom Art Projects opens two exhibitions: a seven-artist group show curated by Alisa Bagdonaite and Sara Masinaei solo exhibition

ArtDayME: Dom Art Projects has opened two new exhibitions, titled Studio, Wounds, and Battles and Boundaries and Breaches, bringing together works that explore artistic practice, memory, movement and everyday life.

Curated by Alisa Bagdonaite, Studio, Wounds, and Battles brings together seven artists from the Studio Support Program. The exhibition offers an insight into artistic practice as a process of experimentation, revision and discovery.

Alongside the group exhibition, Sara Masinaei’s solo exhibition Boundaries and Breaches explores the traces of memory, movement and everyday life held within urban spaces.

The two exhibitions opened during an evening of conversations, encounters and shared discoveries at Dom Art Projects.

Studio, Wounds, and Battles will remain on view through October 11, while Boundaries and Breaches will continue through October 18, 2026.

Dom Art Projects is a private cultural institution located in Dubai’s Al Khayat Avenue.

The space is host to a program of museum-grade exhibitions and installations by emerging and mid-career artists, as well as a bookshop specializing in art and culture, and a residency program with three dedicated studios for artistic production and research.

The institution’s identity and aspirations are reflected in its name. In Slavic languages, ‘dom' means both ‘house’ and ‘home’, while across the post-Soviet cultural landscape, the word has historically been associated with institutions for the production, exchange, and dissemination of knowledge and culture. In Arabic, ‘dom' means ‘always’, adding another layer of meaning: a sense of continuity, endurance, and lasting presence.

Dom Art Projects aspires to be a point of connection and support for diverse communities brought together by shared cultural needs and creative impulses, in Dubai and beyond.
