Etihad Modern Art Gallery Presents Ibrahim Hamid’s ‘Silent Tales’ Exhibition

Hamid invites viewers to look beyond the surface of each painting and discover the emotions and experiences embedded within it.

ArtDayME: Syrian visual artist Ibrahim Hamid explores memory, identity and human emotions in Silent Tales, an exhibition at Etihad Modern Art Gallery in Abu Dhabi.

The exhibition features works that use faces, colours and visual details to express feelings and stories that transcend words. Through his visual language, Hamid invites viewers to discover the emotions and experiences embedded within his paintings.

At the heart of Silent Tales are the unspoken narratives that shape human experience. Using colour and human expression, the artist reflects on personal memories, individual identity and emotions shared across different backgrounds and experiences.

Rather than relying on words, Hamid uses visual elements to convey complex feelings, allowing viewers to interpret the works through their own perspectives and memories.

The exhibition runs until 31 October 2026 at Etihad Modern Art Gallery in Abu Dhabi.

Recent visitors to the exhibition included Iraqi musician Naseer Shamma and Emirati artist Khalil Abdulwahid.
