Mohammadreza Ebrahimi, the well-known musician, has composed an original piece of music for Iran, the Endless Poem by Bita Vakili, an artwork held in the Raha Gallery Collection. In addition, Ebrahimi has written a song specifically for this painting and has personally performed it.
ArtDayMe: Recently, the painting Iran, the Endless Poem by renowned painter Bita Vakili, part of the Middle East Raha Gallery Collection, was unveiled through a media screening. This work is the fifth painting Vakili has created based on the map of Iran. At the time, it was announced that one of the most distinctive features of this “Bita’s Iran” is the music and song composed exclusively for it, which visitors can listen to while viewing the artwork at the Middle East Raha Gallery Collection.
Today, a one-minute excerpt of this song—composed, written, and performed by Mohammadreza Ebrahimi, the distinguished Iranian composer and instrumentalist—is being released.
This tasnif is composed in the Bayat-e Isfahan mode and has a total duration of four minutes and twenty seconds. Percussion instruments are performed by Hamid Ghanbari, and the piece was recorded at Sahara Studio.
Born in 1971, Mohammadreza Ebrahimi is a graduate of the University of Art. He is a pioneering musician and a prominent instructor of the tar and oud. His albums include Sana (Mahoor Publications), Zekr (Norway), Avaz-e Negah (Switzerland), Taranom-e Budan (No Nava Publications), Abu Ata (Honar-e Musighi Publications), and Firoozeh (Honar-e Musighi Publications).

Ebrahimi has also authored two music books: Deyrgah: 22 Pieces for Oud, Volume I (Honar-e Musighi Publications) and Zamzemeh: 22 Pieces for Oud, Volume II (Honar-e Musighi Publications).
It is worth noting that Bita Vakili’s painting Iran, the Endless Poem, created using mixed media on canvas, measures 200 × 200 cm. The work was completed over a five-month period and received its media unveiling in the autumn of 2025.

The Raha Gallery Collection, founded and directed by engineer Mohammadreza Ghaem-Maghami, has been actively engaged for more than two decades in continuous cultural activity with a focus on promoting art in the region. The collection houses a diverse range of modernist and contemporary masterpieces by Iranian and Arab artists.
Lyrics of the song, written by Mohammadreza Ebrahimi, are as follows:
Homeland—
where mercy begins,
and freedom learns its first breath.
I stay.
Until the end.
Morning wind:
a hint of spring.
Your soil:
a quiet source of life.
To fall for you
is another kind of rising.
Blood remembers
what stories cannot hold.
Your name—
a small fire
that refuses to dim.
Mountains, fields:
footsteps of those
who loved you deeply.
Pages filled
with devotion.
We drink your dust;
are filled with longing,
and something like joy.
As long as breath remains,
we carry your name—
a vow made softly
over and over.
Silent tears
find their direction
in your soil.
We are the rain
of unbroken promises—
moving forward,
always.
